Advanced TMJ arthroscopy is one of the most technically challenging procedures in OMS, and yet no clear guidelines exist on the indications for different types of arthroscopic surgeries (Level I, II, III). Geared toward beginner and experienced TMJ arthroscopists, the first part of the course will focus on technical pearls and pitfalls. The second part will used data to lay a foundation for some treatment guidelines in addition using representative cases and a nuanced perspective paying attention to the smallest details in the joint.

Examine indications for TMJ arthroscopy Level I and II.
Determine a data-driven nuanced perspective on Level III arthroscopy.
Analyze the technical pearls and pitfalls of TMJ arthroscopy.
