King Kim, DMD

Facial Cosmetic Surgeon
Sunrise Facial and Oral Surgery
Rockledge, Florida

Dr. Kim is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He was an adjunct clinical professor at Nova Southeastern University Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where he taught facial cosmetic surgery to the residents. Dr. Kim has written numerous textbook chapters and journal articles, many of them with his mentor, Dr. Joe McCain relating to TMJ surgery. Additionally, Dr. Kim co-wrote a textbook entitled: Cosmetic Surgery for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with his cosmetic surgery mentor Dr. John Griffin. This textbook was published in 2010.

Dr. Kim served 6 years as a board examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also currently a board examiner for the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He also maintained a seat on the editorial board for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. For that journal he continues to be a peer reviewer for cosmetic surgery articles. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians.

Dr. Kim has lectured nationally and internationally and has volunteered surgical services in underserved communities in the United States, Central America, and South America. He has volunteered for the past 14 years in Brevard County for Brevard Health Alliance providing pro bono services once a month. Today, Dr. Kim passionately practices facial cosmetic surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery at Sunrise Facial and Oral Surgery in three offices in Melbourne, Florida.

When not at work, Dr. Kim travels to national and international golf tournaments with his family. His two sons, Shayaan and Cyrus are both competitive golfers. Shayaan is nationally ranked inside the top 30 for his age division.
