Karen Z Carver, DDS MD MPH, is a clinical assistant professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/ Hospital Dentistry at the University of Michigan. She completed her public health and dental education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2020, her general surgery internship and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery were completed at the University of Michigan. Dr. Carver completed her fellowship training in cleft and craniofacial surgery in the Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital and returned to the University of Michigan where she has been on faculty since 2021.
