Kevin Furmanek, DDS, MD graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine while earning induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He went on to receive advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital where he earned a medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed an internship in general surgery at NYPH, and in his final year served as Chief Resident in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He currently is in private practice in the Bay Area, CA where he is actively involved in CALAOMS as a member of the legislative committee and is an OBEAM instructor for AAOMS.
