Dr. Hany Emam, BDS, MS, FACS is currently an Associate Professor with Tenure and Chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Emam graduated from the Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt. He began his career as a faculty member at Cairo University before relocating to the United States to complete another Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Emam’s areas of interest are maxillofacial reconstruction, facial trauma, dental implants, dentoalveolar surgery, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint surgey and peripheral trigeminal nerve injuries. He has published multiple peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the field. In addition, he has been awarded national and local awards for his contributions in the field.
