Dr. Phillips is a Professor in the Division of Oral and Craniofacial Health Science at the University Of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Adams School Of Dentistry. She received her Ph.D. in Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1976 and her M.P.H. in Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina in 1990.
Dr. Phillips currently holds memberships in such organizations as the American Statistical Association, Biometric Society, the American Association for Dental Research, and the Society for Clinical Trials and is on the editorial board of the J of Prosthodontics. Her research interests focus on biostatistical applications and data management of clinical trials. She is the principal investigator for a sub-contract for the NIDCR grant, " 3D Dyname and Patient Centered Outcomes of Facial Reanimation Surgery in Patients with Facial Paralysis .” She serves as a biostatistical consultant for design and analysis for student and faculty research projects within the school of dentistry.
