Gained my dental and medical degrees at University College Cork in Ireland. Completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center/Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore USA. Subsequently undertook a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor USA followed by a fellowship in plastic surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, USA. Currently an Attending Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Cook County in Chicago
