Michael J. Hartman DMD, MD
Mike Hartman completed his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2008. Since then, he has been in a private practice setting at Hartman Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where emphasis is placed on using computer-assisted surgery and CAD/CAM technology to improve patient outcomes. He has authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals on dynamic navigation and immediate implant provisionalization techniques. His experience as a dental laboratory technician prior to entering dental school helps give him a unique perspective on guided dental implant surgery and restoratively-driven treatment planning.
Dr. Hartman also holds a Dean’s Faculty position at the University of Maryland Dental School where he is involved with biomaterials research and resident training.
