Currently serving as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Sydnee Vaughan demonstrates a profound dedication to surgical excellence and patient care. Dr. Vaughan completed a rigorous Doctor of Dental Medicine program with honors combined BS/DMD at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Prior to this achievement, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida. In her training, she has demonstrated leadership within the dental community and a committment to foster inclusivity and education within the dental field. These experiences have strengthened her current role as an intern in oral and maxillofacial surgery, where attention to detail and patient-centered care are essential. Dr. Vaughan has received numerous accolades throughout her academic journey, including the prestigious UF College of Dentistry Golden Forceps Award, recognizing exceptional skill and compassion in oral surgical patient care. She has a strong commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying at the forefront of oral and maxillofacial surgery practices. Aside from patient care, Dr. Vaughan enjoys hiking, eating and trying new foods, and spending time with her dog, Curtis Jackson.
