Peter Arvanitis, DDS

Dr. Peter Theodosios Arvanitis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed his residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems in 2024. Passionate about academics and inspired by a slew of excellent surgeons, Dr. Arvanitis is dedicated to teaching residents full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery. During his training he had the privilege to lecture in Greece, Kenya, and Slovenia. In his spare time, he is an avid hiker, cyclist, and enjoys playing basketball.
