This one-hour session will present the latest science on the management of orthognathic and obstructive sleep apnea patients.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Select the appropriate bone plates and fixation techniques for varying LeFort I osteotomies.
  2. Discuss how orthognathic outcomes may be influenced by body mass index.
  3. Educate patients to the effects of orthognathic surgery on upper airway volume.
  4. Advocate for OMSs to perform hypoglossal nerve stimulation surgery for OSA.
