The course will review multiple approaches to reconstructing orbital fractures. These include the use of virtual surgical planning, intraoperative navigation, intraoperative imaging, traditional approaches to the orbit and transantral approaches to the orbit.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using custom hardware for orbital reconstruction.
  2. Examine the indications and contraindications for using a trans-antral approach to the orbital floor.
  3. Describe the technique for performing a transantral approach to the orbit.
  4. Determine the use of combined technologies for addressing complex orbital injuries.
