Dr. Briana June Burris is a full-time Attending Surgeon faculty and the Associate Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial residency program at the Massachussetts General Hospital-Harvard Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program. Prior to accepting this position in clinical-education, she completed a 2-Year Endoscopic Maxillofacial and Minimally Invasive TMJ Surgery Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Burris is interested in a career as an educator-clinician with research focused on the diagnosis and management of immune-based synovial membrane disease of the TMJ; and innovation focused on the development of more sensitive, minimally-invasive diagnostic modalities and design modifications to improve the ergonomics of surgical instrumentation.
