The International Expert Forum is an annual initiative that invites international associations to present educational sessions during the AAOMS Annual Meeting, Scientific Sessions and Exhibition. This year's guest association, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), will bring OMSs from around the world together to discuss lessons learned from their most difficult cases.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Discuss how to strengthen collaboration with international colleagues and their associations by creating opportunities for networking, exchange of knowledge and the establishment of professional relationships.
  2. Analyze the delivery of care of the OMS specialty around the world by gaining insights into innovative approaches, techniques and strategies used in different regions.
  3. Analyze cutting-edge technologies, novel surgical techniques and emerging trends.
  4. Analyze and discuss and the rationale of untoward surgical outcomes and their management.
